Miso Butter Pasta
Ingredients:
Spagetti
Garlic – minced
Miso – I like the type that has dashi infused
Butter
Salt & Pepper
Optional: red pepper flakes, avocado/olive oil, grated parmesan cheese, chopped parsley / cilantro
Directions:
1. Boil pasta to al dente (2 minute less than direction) in salted water. Reserve one cup of pasta water.
2. At the same time, heat butter (can mix in avocado or olive oil) and cook mushroom. Mix in minced garlic near the end. Season with pepper.
3. Add pasta to the pan, mix with miso pasta and pasta water. Star with a little water and add more as you go to get to the right consistency. Stir until mixed well.
4. Optional: sprinkle on grated parmesan and/or chopped parsley / cilantro and serve.
