Garlicky Noodles

Super easy recipe taken from a fashion blogger. After serving this as dinner to my toddler, I found this picture on my phone, taken by him!

Garlicky Noodles

Ingredients
Pasta (I prefer spagetti)
Garlic – 3-4 gloves, minced
Shrimp – 4 large. Defrosted, de shelled, cut into bite size
Broccoli – half a cup of frozen broccoli. Microwave for 1 minute before cooking.
Scallion – 1, chopped

Sauce: soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil . Mix in a bowl.

Optional: butter, red pepper flakes, parmesan cheese

Directions:
1. Cook pasta. Pay attention so it’s not over cooked. I always aim for 2 minutes under the instructed cook time.
2. While pasta is cooking, sauté minced garlic with olive oil (with butter, optional) over LOW heat for a few minutes. Keep heat low to avoid burning the garlic while infusing the garlic flavor. Add shrimp and broccoli and cook thoroughly. For a kick, add red pepper flakes when shrimp is cooking .
3. When pasta is el dente, add to pan. Toss noodles, garlic, and the soy sauce mixture and scallions. Add a little of the pasta water to thicken it.
4. (optional) Top with parmesan cheese.

Enjoy!
